Kelly McGonigal, Ph.D. teaches a course “The Science of Willpower” at Stanford University. She has a good sense of humor and writes easily and succinctly.
By reading her book, ‘The Willpower Instinct’, she renewed my excitement for the concept that’s part of my work, taking the smallest next step.
It really hadn’t occurred to me until I listened to her lecture how willpower is engaged during the process of setting goals and taking small steps to accomplish them.
