Life Coaching Helps You Stay in the Present

When I tell my clients that life coaching helps you stay in the present, I’m usually referring to the un-resourceful habit of putting things off to a later date.

Future-thinking can hold you hostage and actually keep you stuck, unable to move forward with your plans and ideas. You can apply the concept of small steps to this problem. Small steps are best when you have a goal in mind, not imagining how the future will be.

The small steps that you will learn to take by working with a life coach provide you with information you can’t even imagine in the present tense.

Thinking too much about and in the future deprives you of the input and surprises you’ll have by taking the necessary steps to get to your future.
