Life Coach Portland, Oregon: Learn to do the Hardest Things First

I tell clients who come to me wanting to be better at what they do and also to work faster that they must learn to do the hardest things first.

You must have a list of the things you plan to do the night before. Next morning, review the list once more and be sure you make a quick decision about what to do first. Do the hardest things first.

This means, that you don’t tidy up your desk, arrange your pens, do a quick check of your messages, email, texts.

Successful people who want to take control of their lives discipline themselves to focus on their most important tasks and continue until the tasks are completed.

By practicing this, you improve focus, discipline and you also improve the time it takes to do these more difficult tasks so that you can measure overall improvement in your life.

The habit of choosing to do the hard thing first will help you meet your goals of self-improvement. Remember that making the decision rapidly about which task to do is important and creates the ability to excel.
