You must have an intense desire to make a change and then fuel your fire with as many concrete reasons as you can come up with. This is the practical, conscious way of helping yourself make a change.

To give yourself the most fuel:

  • Recall a time when you changed your thinking about something, or you changed your behavior.
  • Spend some time recalling the specifics of your change and pat yourself on the back for doing it. ‘Atta’ girl’.
