When a client comes to me for help with procrastination or focus I begin by telling them how feeling time pass can motivate you. This means that the awareness of time moving quickly, of there never being enough of it, can be a strong motivator.

To become more focused and feel like you’re taking action, you can use the 24 hours you’re given every day to jump into the flow and accomplish those things that you’ve left undone. Maybe you left them in neutral with the intention to get them done.

Choosing the most important things to accomplish first is a basic rule. Having a deadline is essential to progress and understanding that there will never be enough time to get it all done is life.

You have to see the deadline as a suggestion so that you don’t become anxious over meeting it. Most people get things done when they challenge themselves to stay out of trance and on top of their projects.
