Life Coach: Attention and Intention working Together

Attention and Intention

When clients come to me with the desire to have more focus or to be more successful at achieving a goal or outcome, we discuss their ability to pay attention and also to have a clear intention.

Learning to pay attention to your breathing is a very helpful technique to use at least once every day.

Sitting quietly and comfortably in a chair and staying aware of your exhale, making it longer than your inhale, develops the strength of paying attention, focusing so that you can solidify your intentions.

Intentions are ideas. Writing down the ideas as a daily practice develops clarity and an ability to be specific. The more specific you are with your ideas and intentions, the easier it is to develop and accomplish them.

Enjoy!
