Since what you believe can be limiting, understanding what limiting means to you is useful. From an NLP point of view, we all have limiting points of view developed during childhood or later experiences that no longer serve us.
Self-hypnosis is useful to unearth those beliefs that may be limiting to you. Simple mindful meditation can also be useful. Relaxing and choosing a belief you hold that you suspect might not be helpful at this point in your life will allow you to fully consider the genesis of the belief and recognize when you had the flush of recognition that it was no longer useful.
