Feeling That Change: You Have to Feel it To Make it Last

Lasting change may be easy for you. Most people find it hard to make a change that is solid.

Being able to feel the change you’ve made is helpful.

Try this:

  1. Breathe in to the count of 4, hold for 4 and exhale to the count of 8. Repeat 3 times. ( Correct breathing is essential to relaxation and engaging the unconscious mind)
  2. Consider the change you want to make.
  3. Ask yourself if it has a color, a shape, a sound that is specific to it…
  4. Best is to have a feeling about it.
  5. Connect the feeling in your chest or abdomen when you consider the change.
  6. It’s the real thing when you can feel it.
  7. Soon, the feeling will represent the change, re-enforcing it.
