Daydreaming: A Five Part Series
Part 2: Find the Time

Here are some suggestions about how to encourage yourself to take the time to daydream:

  • Sit comfortably wherever you are right now.
  • Relax by breathing slowly and mindfully.
  • Recall a time in your life when you were able to daydream easily.Think about that time, probably when you were younger, and try to feel, in your body, what daydreaming was for you.
  • Now consider how useful it will be for you to designate a time that is free…for you to daydream…maybe you could try this now.
  • Anytime is a good time to daydream. However,with our busy lives it can be helpful to set aside daydreaming time.
