Daydreaming: A Five Part Series

Daydreaming: A Five Part Series
Part 3: Find a Place

  • Find a quiet place where you’ll be undisturbed. It’s helpful to use the place you choose on a regular basis.
  • Sit in a comfortable position.
  • Do your breathing exercise.
  • Choose a place, a point to look at where you can focus your attention.
  • Once you’re relaxed, de-focus and let your mind wander.
  • Be careful not to think of your undone tasks.
  • If you do start to ‘think’ rather than daydream, gently pull yourself back to the present.
  • Stay in the moment and enjoy the fleeting thoughts.
  • If you have obligations, set a timer so that you don’t watch the clock.
  • Bring yourself back from this pleasant state and record your thoughts by writing them down or actually using a recorder.

                                                       Enjoy!
