Best Self-Hypnosis, A 5 Part Series

Self-hypnosis is an important skill to learn. If you currently use it, you’ll agree that a review is worthwhile.

Essential to self-hypnosis is attentive breathing:

  • Inhale to the count of 4, hold for a 4 count and exhale to a count of 8.
  • Repeat this 3 times.
  • Learn to do this daily and you’ll be amazed how useful it is.

It is most effective to be ‘hypnotized’ by a professional, and every professional should teach self-hypnosis to all their clients.

Self-hypnosis is instructing your unconscious (subconscious) mind to help you achieve whatever you can think of.

In this series I’ll provide an induction and suggest 5 different topics with words you can use to get you started.

Repetition of your suggestions is necessary and you’ll become very good at using self-hypnosis by repeating the steps. I’ll tell you about the steps in the next posts.

The unconscious (subconscious) mind doesn’t’ know the difference between reality and fantasy. When you give it instructions, they are taken literally; no judgment, thinking or rationalizing. It simply follows instructions. This is why the conscious mind needs to be relaxed and made quiet so that it won’t argue or judge.

Again, repeating the process will convince the unconscious that you’re serious about the changes you want to make, and not ‘changing’ your mind.

It is common for us to change our minds about things we think we want and so it takes reinforcement of the suggestions to convince your unconscious that you’re serious.
