Part 3 Add to Your Induction
Here’s a method to use after you’ve completed your breathing exercise induction: (See Part 2)
Now, close your eyes and imagine, as you sit there feeling relaxed:
- A soothing opaque orange liquid spreading slowly and over your scalp, increasing your relaxation.
- Feel the orange liquid moving down to your forehead and the back of your neck.
- Next feel it relaxing all the muscles in your face, around your ears and moving further down the neck.
- See the orange liquid move to your shoulders and down your arms, to the elbows, wrists and hands.
- Feel it go to your fingertips. Do this slowly. Feel it.
- Feel the liquid move down your back and chest, filling your torso with deep relaxation.
- Next let it flow to the hips, thighs and knees.
- Now move the soothing orange liquid all the way down to your feet and toes .
- Imagine it rushing out of the tips of your toes, taking with it all the tension you might have been feeling.
Remember your statement. Say it internally. Or, if you’ve written something down, you can just open your eyes and read it to yourself. Make sure it’s simple. Let your mind consider this statement and then just let go of it, letting your mind drift.
You may bring yourself back to an alert state whenever you want, feeling refreshed.
