To start working on your anxiety, learn to breathe correctly.
Pay attention to your posture, be aligned and grounded whether sitting or standing.
Take a full breath in through the nose.
Make your exhale twice as long as your inhale.
Do this at least 3 times. Make a practice of it.
Correct breathing prepares your for the unknown.
Now check on your ability to visualize.
- Close your eyes and see yourself as you want to be: relaxed, alert and calm.
- Not too calm as some amount of adrenalin is helpful for energy and intensity. You want to be at your best and feel free to excel.
- Make time each day to practice visualization. See yourself as you want to be.
