See Yourself without Stress

Clients come to me with no understanding of their stress. I find that asking questions to help them access their subconscious mind will reveal some of the causes. I will ask if they can see themselves without stress.

It can be helpful to get a little distance from yourself and gain a fresh perspective on what you may be doing to feed your stress.


Try this:

  1. Breathe in to the count of 6, hold to a 6 count and exhale to the count of 12.
  2. Repeat 3 times. You should be feeling more relaxed.
  3. Take a break from being you.
  4. As you sit there, imagine looking down at yourself from a short distance. Like being a fly on the wall.
  5. Observe how you’re holding your body, what’s your facial expression?
  6. Since you’re removed, you may feel a sense of relief and may find the answer or a solution to whatever is stressing you.
