Hypnosis, NLP and Life Coach Portland, Oregon: Learn to Relax

When I first work with a client I tell them that one of my goals is to help them learn to relax. It is nearly universal that we don’t let yourself relax long enough to feel grounded.

 

The importance of feeling grounded is easily explained by helping create relaxation if just temporarily and noticing what the perception of your life is while in this state.

Try this:

  • Breathe in to the count of 8, hold for 8 exhale to the count of 16
  • Repeat 3 times. Try to use the diaphragm.
  • Make yourself physically comfortable.
  • Choose a good, quiet place to relax.
  • Notice how the big questions and concerns seem distant or at least conceptual rather than detailed.
  • Mindful meditation is helpful to create a permanent ability to find relaxation.
