How to Release Stored-Up Energy and Realize You Can Be Happy

When clients come to me for help with a feeling of being stuck, I teach them how to release stored-up energy and realize you can be happy. Yes, happy. It’s an added benefit of this process.

 

Try this:

  1. Breathe in to the count of 8, hold for 8 and exhale to your count of 16.
  2. Repeat 3 times.
  3. You should feel more relaxed.
  4. Consider the thoughts and feelings that create ‘stuck’.
  5. Notice how you have strong feelings about these thoughts and are emotional. You’re inside the issue, thoughts, statements, opinions.
  6. Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly, looking at these issues from the point of view of noticing them, but also watching them pass by.
  7. Practice letting your thoughts, impressions and reactions pass by and feel a new freedom.
  8. Consider the freedom to be a result of interpreting things as just a part of your thinking, a transient thing and you have a choice of reacting or just watching them come and go.
  9. With practice, you can be happier as more and more energy is released and often not even created.
