Chances are you’ve bitten off more than you can chew for the start of 2011. I mentioned before, that taking the smallest next step toward your goals is the best way to accomplish them, but this doesn’t mean you won’t be feeling some anxiety or stress as you move forward.
Take a nice, deep breath in and then exhale slowly to calm yourself. Repeat. Now, pay attention to your breathing. Notice how the breath in and out feels. Continue to only pay attention to how the breath in and out feels. Good! Feel better? Calming yourself. Now continue with your busy day.
