Are Your Beliefs Helping or Hurting?

Clients come to me with ideas of certainty about their behavior. I ask them if their beliefs are helping or hurting them.

More often than not, they aren’t sure about the influence of their beliefs because they haven’t taken the time to identify and clarify them.

You can learn to use your beliefs to your benefit in many ways, once you clarify those that are helpful. Paying attention to negative self-talk and
gradually eliminating it will make way for the positive thinking that will bring you success. Not frivolous positive thinking, but the type of inner talk that moves you forward.

Thoughts that include being open to all the possibilities available to you will illustrate beliefs that are helpful. Opportunities will show themselves when you include the belief of being aware of the present moment and
that uncertainty can be helpful.
