Are You Comparing Yourself ?

If you are comparing yourself in a helpful way with others, such as mirroring their positive or effective behavior, you are using a good technique.

 

But if in your speech pattern, both inner talk and external, you’re saying things such as “I’m too old” or I’m too small” then you must then ask yourself: compared to whom?

When you’re using words like ‘too’ or ‘bigger’ and ‘better’ then you are making comparisons that hold you back  and maybe even keep you stuck.

It takes practice to stop speaking this way, but you can do it.
